I threw these on a pair of Superlux HD681's; great headphones for the price. These pads, unfortunately, are not great for price, but they are still “great.” Too expensive, imo, but worth it for cans like the HD681's. The stock pads on those are quite bad and so, so hot! These pads breathe well and offer more room for my Dumbo ears so they aren't smashed against the drivers (the picture I've uploaded will show about 1” between driver and pad/ear contact, w/o any pressure; that measurement gets ~25% smaller as the pads are compressed when wearing, although that depends on clamp pressure of your headphone and the width of that beautiful brain bucket you're sporting). Fitment was easy with a little toothpick, small screwdriver, or stick, just something to help you get the wrap over the casing. The original HD681 pads were hard, and these pads are softer and breathe better, so I reckon the bass gets toned down a bit. They make the HD681's sound better imo, as they were a bit bassy out of the box. I don't want to get into sound too much as it's way too subjective and snooty. Can't comment on the longevity, but I'll try and update in some months down the road, although the modded cans are a gift to my brother.Happy listening audiophile fam 🤙
