Decent wire, okay lifetime

What the other 1 star poster says i understand, but hes missing the dongle his headset most likely came with, regardless, its a decent wire, broke my 3rd one and ordering a 4th rn, but ik the connection has nroken pretty easily inside the wire, while the wire itself stays very nice

It works, but it's not as loud or dynamic as the original

Just go the cable this afternoon (and almost 3 weeks of shipping, which is too long). I've bought other stuff from Brainwavz before with good success, so I thought I'd try again before buying an entire replacement headset.

Cable build quality seems solid. However, as soon as I plugged it in I could tell that it was a much softer sound than the stock cable. My guess is that the impedance in the inline volume control is different. Haven't tried the mic in a conversation yet, but sidetone and loopback sounded 'okay'. But the too soft audio is a deal breaker for me. Back to the drawing board for something else.

There is that much audio leakage that my own game sound is louder than me speaking in the party chat
