Needed to replace my original earpads because they fell apart. I had issues over the summer using them outside because I would start to overheat. These are definitely better in terms of temperature regulation. They are not as tight as the original pads, which is good for preventing headaches but also makes them worse at noise cancellation. I'm giving five stars because I will be using them for overheating, but I've also bought a pair of the original pads to keep at work where I need the noise cancellation.
These earpads were a godsend after the cover on my original Bose ones split and the foam was starting to fall apart.
They are definitely a little thicker than the original but seem more comfortable, noise cancelling and sound quality is just as good, they also seem cooler as well.
They are reat and I'm glad I chose them, fitting was fairly straightforward but you have to get all the clips in at the same time which was a little tricky on one side! Now they're on they seem secure so I hope for long lasting comfortable listening :-)
I live in a warm and humid town, and these are a lot more comfortable than the original pads. I’ve only had them for a few weeks, so I hope they last well.
The cooling sensation is nice, but the hole is a little small for my ears, and these being thicker makes it worse instead of better. Becomes uncomfortable faster than the OEM pads.
The opening in these earpads are smaller than the stock ones, so you may find them less uncomfortable to wear for longer periods.
More problematic though is that I could not get the earpads to completely attach to the headphones. One of the clips would only engage partway, leaving an uneven & decent sized gap between the headphones and earpads.
Also, it's also much harder to fit the headphones into their case. They do fit after some squeezing, but I do worry about the longevity of these earcups given that they're under so much compression when the case is closed.
