The primary use for this adapter is to offer users extra comfort, and the use of third-party earpads on the compatible Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headsets only.

Comfortable and durable

First off, these things are comfortable! Nice to not have my ear hitting the speaker bits anymore. Noise cancelation still works great. Best of all, these things don't get nearly as hot feeling as the originals. However, I was the opposite of the other reviewer! I just mashed on the things until I heard some clicking and I was pretty forceful with it. I will agree, it was a little fiddly to get them on, but worth it! Definitely felt durable enough to take a little bit of abuse, but yeah, totally agree with the other reviewer, using caution would be wise, don't be like me! Do buy these though, they feel great.

Bigger and softer than the original

The fastening rings are obviously of cheaper (3D-print) make than the original and I had to fidget a while to make them click on (be gentle until you’re certain you have them the right way), but other than that I am very satisfied. Real leather is much better that the now-flaking synthetic stuff on the originals. These are also larger, but the softness may offset that. The lack of the fifth star is simply nitpicking at the fitting issue. Have barely used them yet, but so far so good!
