Snapped real tight, very comfortable. I had a little trouble getting L cup to stretch at first but could be User error here. Would recommend and purchase from again.
Old velour pads were very worn and one had split. These are good value as they make my Sennheiser’s as comfy as ever with slightly better sound quality probably due to the better fit around my ears.
My set of HD558s were almost 10 years old and the ear pads were very tired. These replacement pads snapped right in taking less then a min to install both.
I can't hear a sound difference but I was never really an audiophile. Have the 558s because they are so comfortable to wear all way even with glasses.
Swapping pleather for velour will reduce the bass response massively. Much more comfortable but i now have to use EQ to correct balance. I suggest don’t swap leather for velour and vice versa

Price with additional customs (for importing to Germany) is a bit painful, but since I couldn't find an alternative, this will do for now.
My old Sennheiser HD515 might not be the most expensive headphones around. They’re more than 15 years old. The foam pads were perished and completely worn down/collapsed - weird!
For a small cost, these new ear pads make them feel as good as new :-)

Not quite the material I thought they would be. Expected soft velour like ear pads similar to my sennheisers, got cheap scratchy foam instead. That’s on me for not purchasing the genuine ones.
