This is my second pair and I am to blame for the damage on the first set (after almost 2 years of daily use, mostly indoors, never in gym). Comfortable (unlike the original pads; I can pack my small women's ears in the "hole", husband didn't complain either), don't affect sound quality much - ANC loses some of the strength but it is probably because headphones are no longer squeezing out my brain anymore. Nice dark red color as on the pictures.
So cool to have new improved and turquoise ear pads. Thank you for making this possible and easy! Thought shipping charges were excessive.
I bought these for my husband and they fit well on his Focusrite Scarlet studio headphones. The inside measurements are more like 52mm x 32mm and the outside measurement is closer to 95mm, however, they stretch to 100mm. We had no trouble fitting them and they fit perfectly. Hubby is very happy with them.
You need to stretch these to get them to fit properly. It would help if you also had a small screwdriver to tuck the fabric into the headset properly. Once you do that, they look great and work as expected.
very good very comfortable. they actually block out noise way better than the original ear pads for the mdr-7506. they also look better and feel great. 10/10 product, worth every penny.

Hi. I was surprised the other day when looking at my Sony MDR-7506's ear pieces, that they had both shredded and were peeling. A quick Google search pointed me in the direction of Brainwavz, and was amazed at how many different options there were, but the cost of the replacements and the shipping time was great. I got them in a day and a half, they fit great and look awesome. I went with the turquiose to match the side of the headhones. I highly recommend these.
Easy to put on. Fit and finish very fine. I keep my headphones on for several hours a day as part of my job and quite comfortable. Seems to have improved the sound quality as well. Likely because the old ones were so very worn. I can't speak to longevity - I just got them - but they appear to be well made and the outlook is good.
Tough to write anything riveting about ear pads. They come in colors, which I like, they stay on (a bit fiddly to install, but that's due to the Sony design).
But: the customer service was GREAT. Ordered Monday, had them the next day. Instructive e-mails as to shipping and delivery. Price was right, too, cheaper than Amazon. I'll buy from them again.
Had I not heard for myself, I would never have believed that ear pads made any sort of substantial change in the sound of headphones, but I was quickly proven wrong. I've tried several different brands of pads for my MDR-7506s, and to my ears these Brainwavz are not only the most comportable, but also sound the best. And I *love* the color.
