The official Sony replacement parts store no longer stocks this part. Since my earphones were so worn, I was hesitant to choose a third-party company to replace the pads. I was also concerned about the quality of a third-party replacement, given that these earphones cost over $300 when new. However, these replacement pads exceeded my expectations in terms of easy installation and comprehensive instructions. The quality of the earpads is comparable to the original ones, and the sound quality and fit were not affected. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Feel good on the ear just as good as the old ones when they were new. Comes with good instructions on how to replace as well.

It was about time I updated the ear pads on my XM3s. I love my setup, but I could constantly hear my surroundings even with noise cancellation on.
