Extra comfort for glasses wearers

Added these to my AKG 361BT headphones - no deterioration in sound quality that I could notice but definitely more comfortable with my glasses, plus having colours that aren't black mean that it's easier to know which are my pair and which belong to another family member.

It works!

I used these to replace my very old and peeling original pads on my MDR V6. It takes a little stretching and pulling to get them to fit over but they are very well made. No stitches were popped and they look great.

Very comfortable and high quality.

Better than original. I’m very happy with these. The original ones were peeling and leaving black residue. These are so clean and comfortable. I should have replaced them years ago. They are worth every penny, and more.

These pads are great for your vintage MDR-V6's

They are comfy, but I was worried that these slightly thicker and denser pads would change the characteristic sound of my 1986 MDR-V6 cans. The fact is, they do, a little. The treble is a bit less pronounced, the mid's are warmer (but not muddy) and the bass is somehow clearer. But what's best is the soundstage... it's noticeably wider and more immersive. The MDR series was always meant to be a slightly less-cold but overall neutral studio monitor. These pads don't deviate too far from that mission, they just make these fabled cans better for every day, hours-long listening. IMHO, of course.

These feel divine and at a small cost for replacement on my headphones!

Really worth the money!

I bought my MDR-7506s at least 3 years ago and they've a lot of action, but still work perfectly fine. One day however, I noticed that my stock earpads were basically disintegrating. I ordered the turquoise ones. The color really pops since it matches the logo and they generally feel well-made. I'm writing this review after about 6 hours of testing, and my conclusion is that I wish I'd bought these sooner.Installing can be a little fiddly, but I personally didn't need a tool to push the fabric into the small gap like some others did. What I recommend is sliding one side on and pulling in the opposite direction so it slots into the gap. That should give you enough clearance to continue to pull the rest of the earpad into place.I spend a lot of time wearing my headphones, typically at least 8 hours a day due to work/play, so comfort is something I worry about. Not only do these no longer slip around on my head like they used to (I have a small head), they feel even more comfortable than the stock earpads due to the PU leather material. I also feel as though the noise cancelling is better, but that could be because these fit more firmly on my head than they used to. I'm not an audiophile, so I can't say if these make the headphones sound better, but they certainly don't sound worse. I just hope they hold up over time.
